MINNEAPOLIS -- During a weekend trip to Boston, All-Star forward Kevin Love has been taking pictures with fans and seeing the sights, leading Celtics fans to speculate that hes going to follow in the footsteps of Kevin Garnett as the next Minnesota star to come to town and turn around a struggling franchise. Tashaun Gipson Jersey . Not so fast, Timberwolves president of basketball operations Flip Saunders said. "The last I knew Kevin was under contract with us, and I expect him to be playing for us next year," Saunders said Sunday after a workout of draft prospects. "I dont really dictate where guys go on vacation or what they do. They can go wherever they want to go." Love can opt out of his contract after next season, and the three-time All-Star has yet to make the playoffs in six years with the Timberwolves. He was also angered when former executive David Kahn refused to give him a full, five-year extension and instead gave him a four-year deal with a player option after three. Thats led many to believe that he will leave next summer to play for a contender in a bigger market. "Yo (at)kevinlove if you need advice on moving from Minnesota to Boston just let me know .CityOfChamps," tweeted Red Sox slugger David Ortiz, who spent six years with the Minnesota Twins before signing with the Red Sox as a free agent and winning three World Series titles. The situation has prompted the Timberwolves to consider a trade to avoid losing Love without compensation. But Saunders has made it clear that he doesnt feel as though he has to make a move this summer. He views Love as one of the top offensive players in the league, a 25-year-old who has improved his game every off-season. So if other teams do want to get their hands on one of the NBAs top power forwards, it wont be easy. "I know theres a feeding frenzy out there from a lot of teams," Saunders said. "Unfortunately, they have no say. I plan on Kevin being here." If Saunders was posturing, he has good reason. The draft isnt until June 26, and the best offers from teams desperate to land Love dont figure to start rolling in until the week of the draft, or perhaps not even until draft night, and Saunders has plenty of options. He could move him right around draft time for what is expected to be a package that includes high picks and a veteran player or two. He could wait for July 1 and look to build a package around more established, veteran talent. Or he could hold on to Love, try to add a few pieces to a team that finished 10th in the West, and hire the right coach to replace the retired Rick Adelman and show Love that the team is headed in the right direction. It worked for the Portland Trail Blazers with LaMarcus Aldridge, and it worked years ago for the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant. The Wolves can also pay Love about $26.5 million more than any other team. And if Love still does depart after next summer, the Wolves wont be left empty-handed. Theyll have about $17 million in extra salary cap room to attack the free agent market, though luring stars to a wintry climate to play for a team that hasnt made the playoffs since 2004 has always proved to be a challenge. The next big step will be hiring a coach. The Wolves had discussions with Memphis Dave Joerger over Memorial Day weekend, but Joerger stayed with the Grizzlies, who sweetened his contract to remain with the 50-win team. Saunders said he will meet with Wolves owner Glen Taylor this week to evaluate the search, which has been influenced some by the uncertainty surrounding Love. When asked if he would have a coach in place by the June 26 draft, Saunders said "theres probably a better chance that we would than we wouldnt. Were not going to put a time frame on it." As for those excited Celtics fans, Saunders said they should calm down. But he knows they wont. "Theyre the same fans who thought they had Tim Duncan," he joked. "They still think they got Tim Duncan in the draft. Im not really sure, but the last I looked he was playing for San Antonio, Old Man Riverwalk." Jalen Ramsey Jersey .com) - Colorado forward P. Marcell Dareus Jersey . Kerr said he had dinner with Jackson, his former coach with Chicago and the new Knicks team president, on Friday night and they talked again Saturday. Kerr is in New York to work the game between the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors for TNT.On Tuesday morning, Steve Yzerman, Mike Babcock and the rest of Team Canadas management unveiled the names of the 25 men who will wear the Maple Leaf next month in Sochi as Canada looks to defend its Olympic gold medal. The roster is comprised of Stanley Cup champions, World Junior champions, numerous winners of individual NHL awards and eleven returning members of the team that struck gold in Vancouver in 2010. The resumes of these 25 players speak for themselves, but that doesnt mean that these selections come with universal acclaim. Many very deserving candidates will be watching the Games at home with the rest of Canada after being left off the final roster. So with armchair general managers from Victoria to Charlottetown dissecting the list of those going to Russia and those staying put, who do you think was the biggest snub for Team Canada? Starting in net, a pair of incumbents from the 2010 gold medal-winning team didnt receive the call. Now 41 and with his career winding down, it doesnt really come as a surprise that Martin Brodeur wont be heading to Sochi, but what about Marc-Andre Fleury? The Penguins goalie leads the league with 24 wins and holds a 2.23 GAA which is level with that of Roberto Luongos and higher than both of Mike Smiths and Carey Prices marks. Yes, Fleury has won a Stanley Cup, but did his reputation for floundering in big games negate his chances of once again wearing a Team Canada sweater? Montreal native Corey Crawford is coming off a Stanley Cup championship with the Chicago Blackhawks and, though having missed 10 games due to injury, is once again putting up stellar numbers for a team also looking to repeat. Is Crawfords success viewed as a byproduct of the stellar team in front of him? What about Josh Harding? Arguably, the most inspirational story of the year in the NHL, the 29-year-old has emerged as Minnesotas unquestioned starting goalie for the first time in his eight-year NHL career and completely run with the ball, all the while undergoing treatment for Multiple Sclerosis. Harding leads thhe league with a miniscule 1. Barry Church Jersey. 3 GAA, has a .933 save percentage (third in the NHL,) three shutouts and 18 wins. Moving to the blue line, turnover was expected with two stalwarts in Scott Niedermayer and Chris Pronger no longer playing, but Brent Seabrook, another member of the Vancouver 2010 squad, finds himself on the outside looking in. Seabrook is top-five in scoring among defencemen, is joint league-leader in plus/minus and plays over 21 minutes a night for the Blackhawks alongside Duncan Keith, who is headed to Sochi. With Babcock pushing for an eight-man defensive corps made up of four right and four left defencemen, Seabrook found himself behind the likes of Drew Doughty, Alex Pietrangelo, Shea Weber, and P.K. Subban on the right-sided depth chart. Still, is it wise to look past Seabrooks past Olympic success and the fact that his partnership with Keith, the blueliner likely to log the most minutes for Canada, is arguably the NHLs most steady? How much of a factor were injuries in the overlooking of Marc Staal of the New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins D-man Kris Letang? Two more defencemen who toil for Canadian teams who play heavy minutes also didnt receive the call, Torontos Dion Phaneuf and Mark Giordano of the Flames. Are there any more blueliners who you would have liked to see head to Russia? The debate about Canadas forward contingent will likely be the most hotly contested with several significant names not getting picked for duty. For starters, the NHLs assist leader isnt going to Sochi. A member of the 2006 and 2010 Canadian Olympic teams, Joe Thornton (43 assists) was not named on Tuesday morning. Martin St. Louis is leading the Tampa Bay Lightning with 17 goals and 21 assists while Claude Giroux tops the Flyers squad with 12 goals and 26 assists. Eric Staal is his usual reliable self with the Carolina Hurricanes with 35 points in 42 games. Who else deserved to be named to the Olympic team and didnt? And as always, its Your! Phillies starter A.J. Burnett left in the fourth inning because of a sore groin, but Philadelphia chased Fernandez (2-1) with three runs in the fifth en route to its first home win of the season. Fernandez, last seasons NL Rookie of the Year, was tagged for eight hits and a career-worst six earned runs in four-plus innings. The right-hander walked four, matching a career high, and struck out six. He gave up only one run over 18 innings in three appearances against Philadelphia last season. Derek Dietrich homered for the Marlins, who lost their fifth straight. Miami has been outscored 32-13 during the slide. Byrd had two hits, including a double. Chase Ultey and Jimmy Rollins also had two hits for the Phillies, outscored 25-10 by Milwaukee this week in their first home series of the season. The Brewers won all three games for their first sweep in Philadelphia. Jonathan Papelbon pitched a scoreless ninth for his second save in three chances. Philadelphia quickly jumped on Fernandez, scoring two runs in the first thanks to Byrds RBI double and Domonic Browns RBI single. Byrd has six hits and seven RBIs in his last four games. After the Marlins tied it at 2 in the second on Dietrichs drive to right-centre, Philadelphia went ahead 3-2 in the third thanks to Fernandezs wildness. The Phillies loaded the bases with a pair of walks and Utleys single before Fernandez walked in the go-ahead run with a free pass to Ryan Howard. Then, the hard-throwing righty returned to form by striking out the next three batters, featuring a fastball that reached 98 mph. Cody Parkey Jersey. He whiffed all three in the fourth for six straight strikeouts -- all swinging. Fernandez, however, was shaky in the fifth when Philadelphia opened the inning with four straight hits, the last of which was Byrds RBI single that ended Fernandezs night. Kevin Slowey limited the Phillies to just one more run, charged to Fernandez, but the damage had been done. Burnett was removed with one out in the fourth after walking Casey McGehee to load the bases on four pitches that werent even close. Phillies trainer Scott Sheridan went to the mound with manager Ryne Sandberg to pull Burnett from the game. He had thrown 106 pitches. Left-hander Jake Diekman (1-0) relieved Burnett and wiggled out of a bases-loaded, one-out jam by striking out Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Dietrich. Jeff Bakers eighth-inning sacrifice fly pulled Miami to 6-3. NOTES: Rollins had two walks to give him 694 for his career, moving into sixth place in Phillies history. ... CHICAGO -- Max Scherzer wasnt at his best Wednesday. Air Jordan 12 For Sale Cheap . But it was more than enough to beat the White Sox. Scherzer threw six scoreless innings and the Detroit Tigers beat the Chicago White Sox 5-1 to finish a two-game sweep. Scherzer (3-1) won his third straight start, allowing four hits while striking out seven to become the first pitcher in team history with at least seven strikeouts in each of his first six starts. He also became the first in the majors to do it since Tim Lincecum began the 2010 season with at least six strikeouts in his first seven starts. But it was the three walks and 105 pitches that gnawed at the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner. "They fought me all the way through the whole at-bat," Scherzer said. "I just thought I could have been a little more efficient so I could have pitched deeper into the game." Scherzer beat the White Sox for the second straight time, following up his April 24 win when he went six innings and allowed two runs in a 7-4 victory. He also helped Tigers win for the fourth time in five games, and shut down the powerful White Sox offence for the second straight day. "Yeah, we missed out on a couple of opportunities today and yesterday too, but those guys are pretty good pitchers and have been for a while," White Sox catcher Tyler Flowers said. "They do some good things in those situations and get the job done. We just have to find a way to battle through on some of those and get some runs across." On Tuesday, Justin Verlander and two relievers held the White Sox to seven hits in a 4-3 Detroit win. Scherzer and the Tigers continued that Wednesday against a team that started the day first in the American League in runs and second in home runs and slugging, coming within one out of a shutout. "Theres 29 other managers that would like to be able to do that," Detroits Brad Ausmus said of starting Verlander and Scherzer on consecutive days. Chicagos Robin Ventura is certainly one of those managers. As with Flowers, he heaped praise on Scherzer. "Hes great, hes always tough. You get some guys on, you get opportunities and thats when good pitchers really show their stuff. He did that today," Ventura said. "We at least got him a high pitch count and he couldnt get eight or nine innings. But, hes just tough." The Tigers got all the runs they needed in a four-run fourth, when Detroit scored four times against Hector Noesi (0-2). Bryan Holaday capped the rally with a two-run double. Noesi, making a spot start for Chicago, went 3 2-3 innings, allowing four runs and five hits. He breezed through the first three innings, but ran into trouble in the fourth in his first start of the season. "We dont know much about the guy, and I dont think he has been extended that far so it may have been a combination of the hitters getting a chance to see him a few times and also maybe because he hadnt been as deep into a game this year," Ausmus said. "He could have been getting a little tired as well." The White Sox challenged Scherzer as well, but left seven runners on against the Tigers righty. "Im very cognizant of what theyre able to do and always willing to give them credit," Scherzer said. "Today I thought they did a good job of battling me but when push came to shove I thought I was better." NOTES: The Tigers announced that left-hander Robbie Ray will make his major-league debut Tuesday in Detroit against the Astros. Ray, 22, was acquired this off-season from the Nationals as part of the trade that sent starter Doug Fister to Washington, and will start in place of injured starter Anibal Sanchez. Sanchez is on the disabled list with a laceration on his right middle finger and threw from flat ground prior to Wednesdays game. . C Alex Avila missed his second straight game with back spasms. . Robin Ventura said LHP Chris Sale is "feeling better" but a rehab start is a possibility if his recovery continues to be extended. Sale has been on the disabled list since April 22 -- retroactive to April 18 -- with a flexor muscle strain in his left arm. Ventura also said RHP Felipe Paulino (right rotator cuff inflammation) will have a rehab assignment coming up "pretty soon." Air Jordan 12 Wholesale China . - PGA Tour rookie Tony Finau shot a 9-under 63 at Del Monte and had a two-stroke lead over Billy Andrade and Lee Janzen of the Champions Tour after Thursdays opening round of the Callaway Pebble Beach Invitational. Air Jordan 12 Outlet . MADISON, Wis. Vans Old Skool Offerte . -- Eastern Kentucky thrives off creating havoc for others. Colonels coach Jeff Neubauer acknowledged thats not the best plan of attack against No. 4 Wisconsin. Ben Brust scored 20 points and Wisconsin shot a season-best 60 per cent from the field in beating the Colonels 86-61 on Saturday. The Colonels force 18 turnovers a game, including an average of 11 steals. While Wisconsin committed 11 turnovers, two more than its season average, it wasnt nearly enough to offset the Badgers shooting performance, particularly from the free throw line. "Weve been very effective at creating bad decisions by other teams, and today we werent able to do it," Neubauer said. The Badgers (12-0) are off to their best start to a season since 1915-16, when they started 12-0 and finished 20-1. They are in The Associated Press top 5 for only the second time in school history. They now get two weeks off for finals and the holidays before one last tuneup heading into Big Ten play. Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan isnt ready to talk about this seasons team being special but he couldnt help but be impressed at least a little with what the Badgers did by holding Eastern Kentucky to 33 per cent shooting in the first half. "Im telling you, weve got this team on tape, on DVD, and theyre a much better shooting team than this. So youve got to give our guys credit for what they did defensively," Ryan said. Brust said a preseason trip to play in Canada combined with the two extra weeks of practice this year helped the Badgers mould a roster that include contributors across all four classes. "Weve got a lot of pieces, and its coming together nicely. But weve got a lot of work to do," Brust said. The Badgers made a living on free throws and 3-pointers in a game that wasnt close after the opening minutes. Averaging 21 free throws a game coming in, they went 25 of 33 from the free throw line -- led by freshman Nigel Hayes going 13 of 17 -- as the undersized Colonels (7-4) committed 26 fouls. The Badgers finished 9 of 15 from beyond the 3-point line with Brust making five, two short of his school record. Wisconsin used a 10-0 run in the first half featuring two 3-pointers by Brust to take control early and then continued to gradually pull away. The Badgers first got the lead to 20 points with just over 2 minutes left in the first half and to 30 just past midway through the second half on a layup by Hayes. Wisconsin shot a season-best 60 per cent from the field. "At the offensive end, it felt like they made every shot," Neubauer said. Hayes scored a career-high 17 points for the Badgers, while Sam Dekker added 16 and Frank Kaminsky shrugged off a right foot injury that hampered him this week to add 13. Glenn Cosey scored 21 points to lead the Colonels, while Orlando Williams added 13. The Colonels, who start four guards and a forward, started the game at a physical disadvantage that was exacerbated by their early foul trouble. Starting forward Eric Stutz was whistled for his second foul less than 8 minutes into the game. But Neubauer brought him back in after a brief rest only to see him whistled for his third a few minutes later. In all, Eastern Kentucky committed 16 fouls in the first half with three starters whistled for at least two, while reserves Timmy Knipp and Jef Johnson both committed three. Things got marginally better in the second half. But the Colonels were still whistled for 26 fouls overall, though no player ended up fouling out. Brust said the break is coming at a good time for the Badgers, and they can take the next two weeks to take care of school and nagging injuries before facing Prairie View A&M on Dec. 28. They open Big Ten play at Northwestern Jan. 2. "Its good to get time off," he said. Vans Old Skool Scontate . PITTSBURGH -- Yovani Gallardo was pitching so well he just needed one run to get a win. Marwin Hitz Jersey . His catcher got him all the support he needed, with some help from an eager fan. Gallardo pitched seven crisp innings, Jonathan Lucroy doubled and scored on Aramis Ramirezs groundout, and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 1-0 on Sunday. "Yo was outstanding," Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said. "Just hung in there and made some great pitches, got better as the game went on." Gallardo (4-4) had a season-high eight strikeouts in his second win in his last three starts. He allowed four hits and walked one. The Pirates had at least one baserunner in five of Gallardos seven innings, but the right-hander got sharper as the game progressed. "I was able to get out of some big situations and make pitches," Gallardo said. "Thats always something positive to go from." Jeff Locke also pitched seven solid innings in a spot start for the Pirates. Locke was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis to start in place of Charlie Morton, who was pushed back a day to Monday. Pittsburgh also put right-hander Gerrit Cole on the 15-day disabled list with shoulder fatigue. Locke (0-1) struck out five and walked one in his second start of the season. The left-hander, who made the All-Star team last season, allowed six runs and eight hits in 5 1-3 innings against San Francisco on May 5. "He gave us everything we could have asked for him to give us today," manager Clint Hurdle said. "And more." Locke said he benefited from being "on the same page" with catcher Russell Martin. "We just knew I was going to pitch my game," he said. "He just put down the right fingers and moved the ball around a little bit." Lucroy sparked the only scoring sequence of the game when he led off the seventh with a liner down the left-field line that was grabbed by a fan while it was in play. Lucroy was awarded a ground-rule double on the interference. Lucroy went to second on Carlos Gomezs lineout to centre and scored on Ramirezs bouncer to first. The Pirates then loaded the bases with one out in the bottom half. But Gallardo struck out pinch-hitter Jose Tabata and Josh Harrison popped out to second to end the inning. Pittsburgh left 10 runners on base in its 10th loss in 13 games this season against NL Central-leading Milwaukee. Martin and Hurdle also were ejected in the eighth. With two out and Andrew McCutchen on third, Martin looked a called third strike on a curveball from Francisco Rodriguez on the lower-inside edge of the plate. Martin spiked his bat and helmet in the batters box. Hurdle then confronted umpire Ed Hickox about the call and was thrown out. Roenicke said he thought the pitch looked questionable based on the way his catcher reacted to it. "(Lucroy) made that pitch look a little not-as-good-as it probably was," Roenicke said. "Just because he was maybe in between trying to block or decide where the ball was going to end up." Lucroy said he did not think the pitch was a strike. The Pirates then put runners on first and second in the ninth, but Rodriguez got Travis Snider to hit into a fielders choice that advanced Starling Marte to third and retired Harrison for his 19th save. "I ended up making the right pitches to get out of (the jam)," Rodriguez said. "So its definitely a nice win." NOTES: Lucroy had three hits and improved his batting average to .335, third-best in the National League. ... Morton (2-7, 3.31 ERA) got an extra day of rest and will pitch against Chicago on Monday. ... Milwaukee RHP Marco Estrada (5-2, 4.19 ERA) starts when the Brewers begin a three-game series with the Mets on Tuesday. Shinji Kagawa Jersey . -- Jack Del Rio only wanted to talk about the Cowboys, not the Trojans. Eric Oelschlagel Jersey . 1) Sergio Aguero is making a case to be this years Luis Suarez. Air Jordan 13 Discount . The Argentine has masked subpar team play through spectacular individual performance. Agueros brace was catalyst in a 4-1 away win at Sunderland. Two minutes after Connor Wickham gave Sunderland the lead, Aguero made Santiago Vergini look a pylon, going between the legs before a thundering blast, bringing the back netting up from the ground. It was a trademark quick-trigger strike that has made Aguero the most dangerous man in the Premier League. His second goal came on a near post run that was equal in quality as finish. He also added an assist, taking his tally to 14 goals and three assists through 14 games. Hes undeniably the Premier Leagues best player thus far. Aguero is now in the conversation among the top players in the world. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are top two. Aguero is somewhere in the second tier, with the likes of Neymar, Arjen Robben, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, etc. Perhaps a more convincing case could be made if Aguero had remained healthy through Argentinas World Cup campaign. The good news for City, health issues havent been an issue as hes featured in every league match. Aguero has been outstanding, yet remains off the blistering pace set by Suarez last season. After missing the five games through suspension, Suarez scored 19 in his first 14. He ended with 31. Suarez was relied upon for Liverpool to remain in the title race, just as Aguero is at present time. With Vincent Kompany (hamstring) and David Silva (knee) yet to return from injury, the onus falls on Agueros shoulders. It is time for the rest of his City teammates to step up. 2) Are Chelsea as the new Invincibles? While they remain undefeated after a comprehensive 3-0 win over Spurs, Im still not buying they will go undefeated. Chelsea are solid and organized, but not without flaws. Jose Mourinho has refused to rotate his squad, meaning heavy minutes logged by many team members. Seven players have started every league match, including three of the four defenders. Cesar Azpilicueta is the other defender and has started 12. 11 players have started nine games or more, with only 18 players seeing minutes. Mourinho is fortunate his team has remained incredibly healthy. This will not continue. Mourinho will have to rotate his squad. And when he does, the team will inevitably slip. The lack of squad rotation this far is a calculated risk. The hope is early points will allow further rotation later as potential important FA Cup and Champions League matches build. So far, so good. 3) Chelsea play the 4-2-3-1 to near perfection. Consistency in system has turned this group into one that doesnt make mistakes and punish those made by others. Gary Cahill gave up a rare chance against Spurs, careless in possession. Harry Kane failed to capitalize. Moments later, Eden Hazard played a textbook one-two with Didier Drogba. Aaron Lennon and Vlad Chiriches fell asleep. 1-0. Three minutes later, Hugo Lloris made a meal of his clearance. A quick touch to Oscar who played a wonderful through-ball to Drogba. 2-0. Game over. Chelseas superior defensive rotation, with the 10-man unit in unison has been an impenetrable wall. Only 11 goals conceded is a testament to team maturity and patience. The formation may not be sexy, but its effective. 4) Mauricio Pochettino left a good situation at Southampton to go to White Hart Lane where expectations are high and the talent questionable. The transition hasnt been smooth. Pochettino seems unsure on how to best utilize the talent in his squad. Through 14 games, he still hasnt a clue how to best deploy his back four. Up front, Roberto Saldado was relegated to the bench Wednesday, after a goal last time out. Nacer Chadli, back from injury, should have gone from the start. And why Paulinho continues to come off the bench is puzzling. Pochettino has some nice players. Perhaps not a top-four side, but certainly better than what Pochettinos getting out of them. All the meanwhile, Spurs are without a win at Stamford Bridge since 1990. Embarrassing. 5) Arsenal are the new Heartbreak Kids. The Gunners scored for the seventh time in the final five minutes of a game this season to get past Southampton, 1-0. Credit the team for the last gasp goals, but leaving it late is also an indication of team struggles. Nothing has come easy. The short-comings are plain to see. But yet again, Alexei Sanchez puts on his cape and comes to the rescue. His ninth of the league season was a similar read; Sanchez the saviour after Arsenal superior in possession, while not creating nearly enough genuine goal scoring opportunities and poor in front of goal. Arsenal deserved no more than a point. Toby Alderweireld going off (hamstring) in the 84th, leaving Southampton with 10-men having already made three substitutions was the turning point. Arsenal remains sixth in the table, which seems fraudulent considering how much work is left to do. Lets see how a busy December plays out for this inconsistent outfit. 6) The lost-look on Ronald Koemans face said it all. Southampton was hugely unlucky. Back-to-back weeks with innocent looking injuries the downfall. Last week it was Morgan Schneiderlin, the teams most important player, leaving at halftime (thigh) while deadlocked with Manchester City. They lost 3-0 after the re-shuffle. Jack Cork (knock) going off in the first half at Arsenal was a huge blow, changing the flow of the game. And Alderweirelds untimely injury sealed Southamptons fate. Koeman isnt blessed with great depth. James Ward-Prowse (ankle/foot) remains out as well. The current stretch is as tough as it gets. Manchester United are next this Monday. All this makes the 1-1 draw last week with Aston Villa that much more damning. 7) There is an argument to be made Southamptons Fraser Forster should be Englands top keeper. Forster was outstanding at the Emirates, outstanding in positioning and shot-stopping. Southampton has conceded the fewest goals (10), Forster has the most shutouts (7) and top GAA (0.71). We all know the track record of Joe Hart. Forster can be considered a superior option. 8) Just because Marouane Fellaini scored doesnt mean he played well. Fellaini scored his first Old Trafford goal in Manchester Uniteds 2-1 win over Stoke City. For all Fellaini does well, he lacks the top quality demanded at United. His headed goal is testament to his ability to get forward and use his size. The rest of his game is thoroughly average. His misjudgment on the ball, turned phantom neck injury, directly led to Steven Nzonzis goal. Too frequently Fellainis touch lets him down or leads to poor decision-making and distribution. His positional sense is non-existent, unreliable in attack and defending. Antonio Valencia couldnt get forward with regularity due to Fellainis unpredictable ways down the right. United will not get better with Fellaini being a regular. More is demanded in intelligent ball movement. Thats what they need to aspire to. Fellaini is no more than a player to be brought on to change the flow of the game. Hes a disrupter. Thats all. 9) Michael Carrick is Manchester Uniteds most important player. There is no denying his influence as United has won the last four games, the only four games he has started. His composure on the ball and superior ability to read the game has settled the team and kept the group organized. Carrick completed the most passes (104) over the weekend and remains the only consistent in Uniteds midfield. Stoke tried to limit Carricks influence by putting a defensive player on him at all times. This allowed Juan Mata to have his best game of the season, free to roam and find space. 10) There is nothing wrong with Robin Van Persie. The critics insist the Dutchman has lost a step. While that may be true, there are few better strikers in the Prem. The issue has been a lack of service. Uniteds meddling midfield needs to get him more involved. Van Persie made a number of intelligent runs and/or found space against Stoke and his teammates failed to provide service. This is unacceptable. Hes a volume player who requires to be brought into the match. His goal Saturday against Hull serves as reminder what happens when you get him the ball. He had the most touches of the season that game. Feed the target-man and reap the benefits. 11) Steven Gerrard has now scored against 33 different Premier League teams, tallying in Liverpools 3-1 win over Leicester City. It was a rare goal from open play, as 17 of his last 19 have come from dead balls. It speaks to his limitations at this stage of his career. The goal and the victory was a statement. Gerrard should not have started on the bench on his 16h anniversary as a Liverpool player last Saturday. Gerrard need be rested from time to time. But it has to be done selectively. It made no sense for Gerrard to sit in a must-win game with tensions sky-high at Anfield. Gerrard may not be what he once was, but there is no proper replacement. Neither Lucas nor Joe Allen will suffice, they are average at best. If the reins are to be past from Gerrard, adequate talent to replace is a must. 12) After losing for the seventh time in nine matches and getting into a spat with a supporter, Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson declared post-match if fans cant recognize the team-effort, they should stay at home. The comment is an absolute no-no for any manager or player. The fans are the lifeblood that drive the club. Passion should not be curbed. Criticism is part of the gig and comes with the losses, especially for a team in last place. Pearson knows better. The pressure is on Pearson with a crucial away match with Aston Villa ahead. 13) Newcastles Papiss Cisse scored his fifth goal in a 1-1 draw with Burnley. The five goals are more than the four games hes started this season, and three more than he scored all of last year. 14) Southampton has received the headlines as surprise up-and-comer; West Ham United and Swansea City are every bit worthy of praise. They sit fifth and seventh respectively, on 24 and 22 points. Both teams are good enough to stay in the mix for Europa League spots. The Hammers defensive duo of Aaron Cresswell and Winston Reid are among the best at their positions. And the team continues to produce without top goal-scorer Diafra Sakho (back). Meanwhile, Wilfried Bony has scored in two of his last three for Swansea. And the balance between ball-cherishers in the middle and speed on the wings has proved a dangerous combination. Sundays game between these teams has the makings of most entertaining of the weekend. Toronto as a basketball-mad city captured not just our own attention but that of those from around the NBA. The buzz in the city, the crowds at Maple Leaf Square represented by fans from nearly every Toronto ethnic demographic ... and of course the atmosphere inside the Air Canada Centre – electric in a way it rarely, if ever, is for the local hockey team. It all felt like it might be a glimpse into the future. A future where the gap between the love of the local NBA and NHL teams might be small, where basketball might drive the sporting pulse of Toronto nearly as much as hockey. Were not there yet and we may never get there, at least for a long, long time. Outgoing Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment president and CEO Tim Leiweke promised an audience last month that within 10 years the Raptors would be more popular than the Leafs. That statement may say far more about Leiwekes brashness and lack of sense for the market into which hes been transplanted. But the truth is we dont really know how close the Raptors could get because theyve have been so underwhelming during most of their existence. There is little less inspiring in sports than a bottom third NBA team playing out an 82-game schedule where most nights against good teams they dont stand a chancee. Wholesale Air Jordan 13. So to truly get a sense of how much basketball potential there is to unlock in Toronto, were going to need more than just the Raptors running off a 48-win season, pushing a team to seven games during the first round of playoffs and coming up with a splashy television ad campaign. Were going to need a sustained period of competitive basketball. One where the Raptors stay on the NBA radar, with Toronto players becoming part of the greater NBA conversation. Were going to need marquee matchups, games on national television in the US. And rivalries that matter. The challenge with the Raptors hasnt so much been about getting good for a season or two ... its been about staying that way. The Raptors have had six winning seasons in their 19-year history and one playoff series win. This time has a chance to be different. They appear to have the right management, the right coach and a team that is not built primarily around the skills of one player, whose discontentment or subpar performance could on its own completely reverse the direction of things. Theres momentum, youth and potential on their side this time. And while an NBA Championship at the end of the road would be nice, what could come from the journey getting there would be far more significant in the long run. Cheap Hoodies From China Discount NFL Shirts Cheap NFL Jerseys AuthenticCheap NFL Jerseys China Wholesale China Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys From China Cheap Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Fast Shipping China Jerseys Stitched Jerseys ' ' '

The defence nearly pitched a shutout. And Cincinnati got plenty of help from a sloppy Tennessee team that had just received sad news. Dalton turned his first career reception into a touchdown on Sunday, and the Bengals stayed undefeated with a 33-7 victory over the Titans. The Bengals (3-0) head into their bye week with their best start in eight years and a chance to get some of their many injured players healthy. They got a lot of big plays, a few breaks and plenty of help from a team dealing with the death of a long-time player. A few hours before kickoff, the Titans (1-2) learned that kicker Rob Bironas had died overnight in a one-car crash in Nashville. Hed been released in March after his ninth season with Tennessee. Everything went wrong for the Titans, who committed a safety for holding in the end zone on a punt, missed two field goal attempts, snapped the ball before Jake Locker was ready in shotgun formation, and whiffed on the games defining play. On the final play of the first quarter, Dalton flipped the ball to receiver Mohamed Sanu, who ran to his right while the quarterback sneaked toward the other side of the field. Sanu stopped and threw a cross-field pass that hung in the air. Cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson had a chance to pick it off or level the quarterback, who was reaching to catch the ball. Wreh-Wilson ddid neither, lightly bumping Dalton as he ran by him. Vans Scarpe Scontate. The quarterback made the catch and ran 18 yards, diving inside the pylon at the goal line to score. He was the first NFL quarterback to score on a catch since Kansas Citys Tyler Thigpen in 2008. Daltons threw his first interception -- Cincinnatis first turnover of the season -- with 44 seconds left before halftime. But Locker forced a throw into coverage in the end zone for an off-setting interception that left the Bengals with a 19-0 halftime lead. The Bengals didnt have to do much in the second half other than let their defence finish it off. Dalton was 15 of 23 for 169 yards and wasnt sacked for the third straight game. Pro Bowl receiver A.J. Green, who missed most of the last game with an injured big right toe, started and had six catches for 102 yards. He also drew a pair of pass interference penalties from Wreh-Wilson. Giovani Bernard had a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs. His dive with 1:58 left in the third quarter completed a 14-play, 80-yard drive that lasted 7 minutes, 18 seconds and finished off Tennessee. The Titans repeatedly undercut drives with penalties. Locker was 17 of 34 for 185 yards with two interceptions, two sacks and a passer rating of 41.9. Ryan Succop missed field goal attempts of 40 and 44 yards in the first half, helping Cincinnati take control.
